Julia Walsh

Julia Walsh is a mixed-media artist best known for her expressive German Shorthaired Pointer paintings and richly layered abstract florals. Her work celebrates joy, movement, and the beauty found in everyday life, combining bold color, texture, and intuitive mark-making. She studied Fine Art at William Woods University and the University of Colorado Denver, where she developed a multidisciplinary approach to painting. Working primarily in acrylic, oil stick, pastel, and collage, Walsh builds layered surfaces through an intuitive process of painting, scraping, sanding, and revealing unexpected forms. Her work is held in private collections throughout the United States.
