Margot Carr is a painter whose works are inspired by the cobalt blue skies and cadmium green lawns of the Eastern End of Long Island and the hedge rows of southern Florida. When not painting, she has focused her career in a variety of creative businesses: as Managing Director of Production Companies, Web Development firms, Architectural firms and a Software Technology firm. She is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a double major in – Studio Art / Art history. She paints in a variety of mediums, on a variety of surfaces and is also a found objects sculptor. She is currently - for the first time in her life - a full time artist.
